Columbus is one of seven U.S. cities selected to host Olympic soccer matches, joining New York, Nashville, St. Louis, San José and San Diego. The sites were chosen from existing stadiums, many of them purpose-built for soccer, allowing LA28 organizers to stage a national tournament without constructing new permanent facilities.
The specific team matchups will be revealed later, following further progress in the LA28 Olympic qualification process and the official tournament draw.
